We have now been operating under the same management for the last 33 years. Our senior auctioneers and valuers Terry Bell, Neil O'Brien and Andrew Snooks make up a highly qualified team who are able to offer clients our vast expertise with a combined 100 years experience in the auction industry.
We conduct frequent auctions throughout the year selling Antique furniture, art, a large array of collectables, modern furniture, vehicles, general household contents and much more. These auctions usually comprise of over 1500 lots. We are also experienced in and occasionally hold onsite, automobile memorabilia, specialty, closing down and liquidation auctions.
Due to Covid-19 impacting the auction industry in 2020, Armitage Auctions were forced to change our auctions from in-house to online. Following the positive response from the large majority of buyers and the outstanding results that have been achieved for our vendors since going online, we have decided to continue holding online auctions for the near future.
We conduct regular auctions (every three weeks) selling antique or modern furniture, art, china, books, old toys, coins or notes, stamps, jewellery, garage items, electrical, commercial and industrial items, vehicles, boats, trailers etc…
These auctions usually comprise of between 1400 to 1700 lots.
You can view our auction dates by clicking “auction calendar” on the bottom of the home page. Catalogues with photos and descriptions usually begin to be uploaded 5 to 6 days before the closing date. We have viewing in-house for a minimum of 4 days before the closing date.
All bids are made online, however if you do not have access to the internet we can place bids for you
