Armitage Auctions was established in 1972 by Henry Armitage, a well known and established Chattels Auctioneer in Northern Tasmania
We have now been operating under the same management for the last 30 years. Our senior auctioneers and valuers Terry Bell, Neil O'Brien and Andrew Snooks make up a highly qualified team who are able to offer clients our vast expertise with a combined 90 years experience in the auction industry.
We conduct frequent auctions throughout the year selling Antique furniture, art, a large array of collectables, modern furniture, vehicles, general household contents and much more. These auctions usually comprise of over 1000 lots. We are also experienced in and occasionally hold onsite, automobile memorabilia, specialty, closing down and liquidation auctions.

You may leave an absentee bid at our office, online or by phone. You may also bid live on the phone (subject to approval), please contact the office.

We offer plenty of free car parking and there are many access points for speedy collection of your purchases.

If you are unable to bring item/s into our rooms we can arrange a time to visit you or you can alternatively send us a photograph via email.
We can assist you with arranging cartage of your items, packing, sorting and removing items to our auction rooms at Invermay.
