Our auctions rooms:
- 6 days each week
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
- Saturdays, 9am to 12 Noon (except some long weekends)
[Please note: our auctions are held on a Wednesday every fortnight, special antique auctions are held periodically on a Saturday, and our auctions are advertised in the front section of the Launceston Examiner (around page 5) on the Saturday prior to the auction].
Our auction rooms attract a large crowd, and therefore we offer the following:
- plenty of free car parking available
- easy access for speedy collection of purchased items
We also have a kiosk operating each auction day providing:
- selection of hot & cold food
- selection of hot & cold drinks
Armitage Auctions are happy to look at any item and value it for you. Just bring it out to our showroom and one of our Valuer’s can assist you with an estimate. Or send us a photograph prior to coming out via email
and we can advise accordingly.

When leaving a bid with us you must telephone our office on (03) 6326 2555 the day after the auction to see if you were successful.
Payment of goods must be made no later than 2 working days after each auction. We accept eftpos, credit cards (1.5% fee applies).
All auctions attract a 12.5% buyers premium plus the GST component, totalling 13.75%
Delivery of goods must be arranged as soon as possible after each auction.
We can, if you wish, help arrange a carrier for delivery, at your cost.
