21st July 2010:
Armitage Auctions have had a very busy year at its White City Invermay auction rooms.

We have been in our new premises for over 3 years now.

 

Our Antique and Collectables Auction held on Wednesday 21st. July was very well attended and good prices were paid for the many Estate and other items on offer.
 

Some of the results were, Victorian mahogany dining table $7750, William IV mahogany chiffonier $2500, early framed sampler $1050, Victorian cedar bokcase $3600, Colonial cedar chest $1500, George III mahogany chest $1900, Colonial cedar occasional table $4400, cedar carver chair $1150, Colonial cedar kitchen table $2400, cedar double wardrobe $2800, Georgian mahogany gentlemans press $2100, Pro Hart oil painting $2500, 5 Olga Garner oil paintings between $2800 and $3200, cast iron garden setting $3700, Georgian mahogany bookcase $4400, Amelia Burrows painting $3000, Russian icon $760, John Glover sepia watercolour $1700, 2 Mabel Gibson pottery bowls $1100, Colonial travel box in Tasmanian timbers $2400. 

 

Our last auction for 2010 will be held on Wednesday 8th. December.

Our first auction for 2011 will be held on Wednesday 19th. January.
 

Our auction rooms will be closed from Monday 20th. December 2010 and re-open on Monday 10th. January 2011.
